About Us
Founded in 1993, Webfoot Guide Service brings 33 years of experience setting the benchmark for a waterfowl guide service. Johnny & Dan Porter started their operation in Northeast Arkansas, and later moved their headquarters further north due to ducks short-stopping us with mild winters.
Hunting from spacious 8-man boat blinds equipped with professional mobile big spread setups, our parties experience unmatched shooting room, comfort, and experiences. Backed by genuine Southern hospitality and full lodging accommodations, we handle every detail from dawn decoy deployment to evening southern-style meals.
Meet the Staff
Our team brings over 33 years of experience to every hunt. From boat blind calling techniques across open-water reservoirs to comfortable lodge stays, we ensure your trip is professional, safe, and deeply rooted in Southern tradition.
Johnny Porter
Founder & Guide
Johnny founded the company back in 1993. He learned to call ducks by spending hours listening to ducks in his youth. His love for the sport grew, and wanted to share that passion with others, and that’s when Webfoot Guide Service was created.
Dan Porter
Owner & Guide
Dan grew up in his father’s footsteps and his passion for the outdoors is just as big. From daily scouting, putting out spreads, and calling in migrating ducks, Dan goes above and beyond to put the ducks right in the kill hole for you.
Linda Porter
Lodge Hospitality Owner
When it comes to Southern hospitality, Mrs Linda is a leading staple. She not only maintains The Roost Lodge for clean accommodations, but also provides Southern-style home-cooked meals nightly for their guests.
Justin Porter
Media Operations
Justin may not be out in the field as much as he would like, but he keeps the behind-the-scenes operations up to date. From Media and Website development to social media, Justin goes above and beyond to share media with the public.
Tank
Senior Retriever
At 8 years old, Tank is our seasoned Senior Retriever. Still young at heart with boundless enthusiasm for the hunt, he provides dependable daily retrieves in the blind, ensuring your downed ducks are brought cleanly back to hand every morning.
Junior
Retreiver
Meet Junior, our newest retriever at Webfoot. Don’t let his youth fool you. He is a highly trained, finished retriever and a Hunting Retriever Champion. Not only does he perform well in field trials, but he also makes long retrieves on the guided hunts.
